Mr. Kjeld Friis Munkholm, owner of Munkholm & Zhang Consulting, is a respected professional with extensive experience in China’s complex business, technology, and environmental sectors. His journey began in 1998 when he moved to China and immersed himself in the local culture and business environment through roles in Suzhou, Guangzhou, Beijing, and Shanghai.

Over the years, Mr. Munkholm has held a variety of key positions, including Technical Director, Business Development Manager, Supply Chain Manager, and General Manager, culminating in his role as CEO of his own consulting firm, Munkholm & Zhang Consulting, based in Shanghai.

A significant part of Munkholm’s expertise lies in his deep understanding of industrial processes, a skill honed through decades of immersion in China’s industrial sector. His insights are grounded in first-hand experience, having visited over 700 manufacturing companies during his 25 years in China. This unparalleled exposure has provided Munkholm with a nuanced understanding of the operational, technical, and strategic dimensions of manufacturing and industrial processes in China.

Partner: Relycom

Relycom is a European company based in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province. The company was founded by Italian Antonio Liaci in 2015. Initially, Relycom focused on supporting foreign entrepreneurs and companies looking to manufacture their OEMs in China or simply purchase finished goods from China.

Later that year, Relycom expanded into the sports equipment industry by becoming a shareholder and core management of a factory in Zhejiang Province, gaining extensive experience in production, supply chain management, and sales in the Chinese market, as well as working with some of the world’s most famous sports brands.

Recently, Relycom identified a new market niche and, together with Italian partners, founded a company dedicated to developing and selling hotel equipment in Europe.

In short, Relycom has dedicated all its efforts to building a bridge between Chinese manufacturers and European companies.

Today, in collaboration with Unik Consultant, the goal is to support Chinese companies in internationalizing their products and visions and opening up new opportunities in Northern Europe.

SEARUNNER A/S was established as a subsidiary of Atlantic Forwarding Group in Denmark after more than 25 years of collaboration with agents.

The former agent was acquired at the beginning of 2013, but Atlantic Forwarding wanted to maintain its presence in the Danish freight market. Atlantic Forwarding is a family-owned freight company headquartered in Switzerland, and since its founding in 1979, the company has focused on trade between Asia and Europe.

Today, Atlantic Forwarding has its own offices and subsidiaries across Asia, with the oldest established in 1980. The company also has its own offices in Europe, as well as agents and partners around the world.
